Fennica Gaming expands to Alberta as regulated iGaming market opens – launches Nordic titles with Betty

Fennica Gaming is pleased to announce its entry into Alberta, Canada, coinciding with the opening week of the province’s newly regulated iGaming market. The launch is carried out in partnership with Betty, with Fennica’s Nordic gaming titles becoming available to players in Alberta during the very first days of regulated online gaming.

This expansion marks a significant milestone in Fennica Gaming's international growth strategy and demonstrates its readiness to enter new markets in full compliance with local regulations.

A crucial step in this expansion was securing the necessary iGaming Goods or Services Supplier license from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC).

"The application process with the AGLC team progressed well, and we felt strong support from them. I also believe that operating only in licensed markets with licensed operators creates a strong foundation for our expansion journey," states Timo Kiiskinen, who led the licence application process.
